A. Executive recruiters are professionals familiar with every aspect of the job hiring process, from the initial job evaluation through negotiation and hire. We act as an intermediary between the job candidate and corporate management. Our knowledgeable advice and counsel can be the difference in whether the candidate lands the desired job. We offer complete confidentiality to our candidates making it possible for presently employed candidates to seek new opportunities. The jobs we search are not widely advertised as our clients rely on us to fill the positions. For many of our open positions, we are the only executive recruiting firm employed to conduct the search. At LAI, we take pride in our professionalism. We first ensure that the candidate is a good fit for the job, then take the candidate step-by-step through the entire hiring process, from phone-screening to salary negotiations.

Q. How does LAI get paid?

A. The hiring company pays us a percentage of the candidate's first-year compensation. Since we are a contingency firm, we are only paid when a candidate is hired. There is no fee charged to the candidate.

Q. Where does LAI have jobs?

A. We continually have job openings throughout the United States.

Q. Does LAI  place candidates just graduating from college?

A. No. Our client companies hire us to find experienced candidates.

Q. What are "consumer packaged goods"?

A. Consumer packaged goods (CPG) are branded products such as soft drinks, beer, wine, snacks, food, detergent, soap, and other household products. Our client companies are looking for people experienced in this industry to sell and market these products to grocery stores, convenience stores, mass merchandisers, restaurants and other channels.
